Springtime - Robins Egg Nest

~ Springtime ~

What symbolizes {Spring} more than new blossoms and tiny bird eggs?

I was inpired by the beauty of nature to create a this piece.

~ Inspiration Board ~
Gorgeous tones of robins egg blue, brown, spring green and cream make this a great piece to match almost any decor. It is ready to hang, and includes the black frame and white matte.
The three bird eggs are made from book pages, to add to the whimsical feel to this painting. I love incorporating paper & book pages into my paintings.

It's ready to find a new home and in the SHOP, let me know if your interested. :)

What symbolizes {Spring} best to you?

Skyline {Seattle} Painting

City Lights -- { Seattle Skyline }
The beauty of the many rich colors and textures of Seattle inspired me to paint this gorgeous city after I recently visited there. It truely is the Emerald city sparkling with rainbow of rich colors, masked with sexy urban grunge. This painting is a silhouette of downtown Seattle and Space needle, with thick layers of colorful reflection of the city.

Beautiful rich tones of teal, blue, green, and pink/purple, yellow. Thick pallet knife texture with acrylic paints. This is an Original one of a kind stunning painting! -- Available!
Painted on canvas (1/2 inch wrapped edge) it is ready to hang!
Large Canvas size: 2 ft x 4 ft

Best part is FREE shipping!! :)

Here are some photos I took on our trip to Seattle that inspired me to paint this piece!

I love this city & my hubby! ;)

WELCOME!

New Blog Home!

Welcome to my {Heather Hurzeler} new blog home! I've been doing a lot of deep thinking and have decided it's time to really get seriously focused on my true loves.
Art and Photography with a splash of "Sew-Over-It" projects mixed in there too.

I have enjoyed the Sew-Over-It blog, and have been SO thankful for my faithful friends and blogger friendships I've met over the past year! Thank you!!

At the end of this month marks the 1 year anniversary of starting the blog Sew-Over-It, and the last.  I LOVE sewing and creating new things from old, but have decided to really try and keep my focus on the bigger picture (my artwork & photography). If you know me at all, you'll know I have many loves in the art/craft world... and enjoy constantly learning and trying new things. But that can also be a bad thing for me, it takes the focus and time away from where it should be - My artwork!

Don't worry I'll still be doing Sew-Over-It projects and perhaps tutorials ocassionally on this blog, but mostly sewing for my children / home and self! :) I love keeping you guys inspired with DIY project ideas!

I will be keeping my store stocked with mostly Artwork, (large, small and hopefully prints too soon!) and womens accessories & wedding items.

So this blog:       www.HeatherHurzeler.blogspot.com
will combine everything into one easy place for me to grow as an artist / photographer / designer! I hope you will join and support me in this adventure. :)

If you just joining me for the first time click HERE to learn a little bit about me!

Also check out my WEBSITE!

If you see something within my website / blog you are interested in please let me know. Currently I am trying to get my name out there and get my art & photography business off the ground. Currently I am working for a deeply discounted price! I believe good art & photography should be affordable for everyone!

Love,
Heather
