The day after their gorgeous Quilcene, WA wedding we met back up with these two for a little more photo fun! They wanted to take advantage of this gorgeous property and get some unique fun photos without the stress of the wedding day. We are so glad they opted for this Rock the Frock session, would love to see more couples do the same! 

Just a few of the details included a Vintage Model T Ford, "Black Beauty" the horse and a whole lot of steaminess and playfulness as we ended the session in the water... in her dress!  If you have ever asked yourself if "getting your dress wet" or "wearing it again" is worth it!?.. let me tell you a definite YES. Maternity Session | Lace & Poppy fields

A few of my favorites from her maternity session. 

This beautiful momma is an incredible lady and also happens to be my sister  and little nephew growing in that perfect bump.

I loved feeling him kick and rolling around, can't wait to meet him!

 Such a beautiful thing it is, the miracle of life!

 

The only thing better than black lace is....

white lace of course. She brought these long white lace curtains that made the perfect backdrop with this dress.

 

 

 

As much as I adore neutrals, I do love a bold pop of color. Isn't this orange dress amazing against the poppy field!? This was a very happy accident.

She is so excited to be a big sister, I sure love this girl!

  So excited to meet this little guy coming soon!

the Masons | Kentucky | destination wedding photographer

::  The Mason Wedding | Taylor + Abbey ::

This was a very special wedding to me! My youngest cousin on the Mason side (the very handsome groom, who actually towers over me in height) Taylor, called me up from Kentucky to tell me he was getting married! He had met Abbey and he was head over heels in love. She is pretty freaking awesome I have to admit, I was like, "yes... love her" after first talking on the phone with her. And such a gorgeous bride, Taylor you are a lucky guy!

I had the honor of photographing their beautiful wedding celebration just outside of Louisville Kentucky, I flew in from Seattle Washington.  I felt very at home in the lush green state of Kentucky with the rain falling softly as these two started their wedding morning preperations. Loved it!

The day was so precious, it was a joy to watch them exchange their vows... share their first kiss at the altar. (ever. yes, ever!) God is good, He brought these two together and I am excited to see where their journey as now married couple takes them. Congratulations you two!

 

I think all first looks should be by the bridesmaids, how can you top this reaction!? They all adore her.

 

 

 

During the ceremony everyone joined together in singing worship and praise songs, so beautiful.  It was a true celebration honoring the Creator of marriage.
